Shelf Tools Install

Auto Install

1. Open Python Shell. Window > Python Shell
2. Paste this snippet:
   import urllib.request,ssl;exec(urllib.request.urlopen('https://codercat.xyz/cookbook/public/install_shelf.py',context=ssl._create_unverified_context()).read().decode('utf-8'))
3. You will see Cookbook shelf appear on the top panel.

Manual Install

1. Download shelf tool file and place it in your Houdini toolbar folder:
   • Windows: C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\houdiniX.Y\toolbar
   • macOS: /Users/USERNAME/Library/Preferences/houdini/X.Y/toolbar
   • Linux: /home/USERNAME/houdiniX.Y/toolbar
   Replace USERNAME and X.Y with your account name and Houdini version.
2. Restart Houdini.
